MISSOURI TELEGRAPH -Fulton, Missouri - March 7 1935 - ONE TIME DAIRYMAN OF FULTON IS DEAD - GREEN MULLINNIX SUCCOMBS IN ST LOUIS HOSPITAL OF BRIGHTS DISEASE

Green Mullinix, 65 years old, a former dairyman on the Caldwell place, north of Fulton, died at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning in the hospital in St Louis where he had been under treatment for Bright's disease. Until his last serious illness, Mr Mullinix had been making his home with his son, Roy Mullinix at Parkerton, Wyoming and came back just recently because he believed that Missouri weather would agree better with his health. About a year ago, Mr Mullinix suffered a stroke of paralysis. Mr Mullinix was born in Keokuk County, Iowa and came to Missouri in 1922 residing in Fulton until 1917 when he went west and spent much of his time with his son. Besides the two sons, Mr Mullinix is survived by a daughter, Mrs Hazel Muir of McCredie. Mr Mullinix was a member of a Odd Fellows lodge and held membership in Fulton until moving west when he transferred his membership. He was a member of the Baptist Church. In Fulton, he is still remembered by many patrons of his dairy products route and the essential service he gave through it. Mr Mullinix had the happy faculty of making and holding friends and his passing will be received with regret by all those who knew him.
