George Preston Mullinnix died at his home in Sigourney. When a child of six years he came with his parents to Iowa, settling on a farm three miles north of Sigourney. Since that time he has lived in and near Sigourney practically without interruption. He was married to Miss Alice Lamb. The widow with two children, Montie E and Adah L. remain to mourn their sad bereavement. Their sorrow is shared by three grandchildren,three sisters, and two brothers besides a multiltude of more distant relatives and friends. Mr. Mullinnix was a member of the I.O.O.F. the Yoemen, and the W.O.W., having held various positions in the orders. He had been a member of the Sigourney Christian CHurch for more than 30 years, and was known throughout the County from his long connection with the Rawleigh Medical Company in this locality. Funeral services were conducted from the Christian CHurch Feb 6 at 2 p.m. by Rev. R.B. Hyten. Internment in West Cemetery."
