Donald “Dude” Moore, 73, of Delta, died June 25 in Delta.

He was born January 24, 1912 near Delta, the son of James and Effie Pence Moore.

He married Helen Gordon Dec. 24, 1933 at Delta. He was a chef until retiring. He was a veteran of WW II, a member of the Delta Christian church and the American Legion of Delta.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Jimmy and Larry; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, four grandchildren and a brother.

Prayer services were Friday at Fremont Funeral Chapel and graveside services were later at Kensler cemetery.
