Mrs. Lucinda Henson, daughter of Owen and Analiza Monohon born August 31, 1832, died October 19, 1916, at the age of 84 years 1 month and 18 days at her home in Hayesville. She had been ill about three weeks.

She was married on December 11, 1856 to John Henson who preceded her, to the life beyond, 53 years ago.

She is survived by one son, William Henson of Hayesville and nine grandchildren, Mrs. Thurman Ulin of Sigourney, Herbert Henson, Mrs. Oscar Dawson, Clyde, Fawn, Doris, Juanita, Waldo and Roger Henson, all of Hayesville.

Dearly beloved, highly respected, with hosts of friends she lived cheerfully without complaint, grateful for the blessings bestowed and always ready for the final summons when they should come to open for her the door to the Life Everlasting.

Interment in Pennington cemetery, Thursday afternoon at three o’clock, services at the grave.

Pallbearers were Herbert and Clyde Henson, Oscar Dawson, Thurman Ulin, Wilbur Carson and Ed Bryant.
