Hazel Echelberry, age 76, of Martinsburg, died Dec. 15, 1983 at her home.

She was born March 9, 1907 in Keokuk County to Frank S. and Minty Ash Echelberry. She was a housekeeper all her life.

She is survived by a brother, Jim of Laquay, Missouri; two sisters, Alta Bell Stonebraker of Floris and Blanche Higdon of Eldon.

Services were Sunday at Martinsburg Methodist church with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery near Martinsburg.
