Goldie Hallie Cox, 87, of Sigourney, died Wednesday, April 20 at the Ottumwa hospital.
She was born December 23, 1895, near Hayesville, the daughter of James and Louisa Harmon Walker.
She farmed in the Hayesville area and cooked in restaurants at Sigourney, Ottumwa and Ainsworth.
She was married to Dick Kleinschmidt March 30, 1913. He died in 1950.
She married Earl Cox May 20, 1951. He died January 14, 1963.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Lavetta) Keller of Hayesville and Mrs. Bill (Evelyn) McNurlen of Keota; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a son, a brother and two sisters.
Services were held, April 23, at Reynolds Funeral Chapel of Sigourney with Rev. Raymond Moore officiating.
Burial was at Pleasant Grove cemetery.
