Dorothy Arlene Caywood, of Delta, died Feb. 26 at the Mahaska county hospital, Oskaloosa.

She was born May 13, 1921 in Delta to Benjamin and Della May Knox Caywood. She graduated from the Delta high school. She was a member of the Delta Christian church for 57 years and a member of the Delta Garden Club.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. A. P. (Mildred) Smith and Mrs. Charles (Marjorie) Haug; two grandchildren, Mrs. Cleo (Penny Sue) Stroud and Michael Roy Bensmiller; two great grandchildren, Jessica Mae Stroud and Tonya Lynn Bensmiller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Velda Mae Bensmiller, two brothers, Roy E. Caywood and Ralph O. Caywood and two sisters, Mabel Stoner and Georgia Stoner.

Services were held at the Delta Christian church, Delta on Feb 28 with the Rev. George Mullins officiating. Burial was in the Garrett cemetery, Delta.
