Ida Theresa Beever, 104, of Albia died Jan. 28, at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia.

She was born September 26, 1880 in Keokuk County, the daughter of Gottlieb and Caroline Miller Schlaser.

She was married to Dow Beever December 6, 1905 at Keswick. He preceded her in death December 7, 1942.

She had lived in Albia since 1970. Prior to that she lived at What Cheer.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church at What Cheer. She attended school and church in the Keenersburg neighborhood and at the same time attended a German school in the same area.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John (Blanche) Telin, Mrs. Liston ( Hazel) Courtney, Mrs. Mable Clucas, Mrs Barton (Mildred) Irving; 17 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Services were held Jan. 30 at the Harden Funeral Chapel in What Cheer with Rev. Duane Ferguson officiating.

Burial was in Sorden cemetery near Keswick.
