Merle Beasley, 67 died Nov. 21, at the American Health Care Center in Davenport.

He was born April 6, 1917 at Sigourney, Iowa, to Earl F. and Okie “Bell” Beasley.

He had been a machine operator and laborer for various Quad City Companies. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the U. S. Army.

Preceding him in death was his parents and one brother.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Sally) Wilson and Mrs. Gary (Patti) McKay; three grandchildren; four brothers, Harold, Earl, Paul and Russell; five sisters, Mrs. Delmar (Irene) McKay, Mrs. John (Mildred) White, Mrs. Lyle (Maxine) Decker, Mrs. Steve (Betty) Radosevich and Olive McDurmott.

Services were held Nov. 26 at the Esterdolba Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Adoer, Pastor of the Church of Christ officiating.

Burial was in the Rock Island National Cemetery.

A Military Service was conducted by Moline American Legion Post No. 246.
