Mrs. Jones Dies At 85

RICHLAND - Mrs. Grace M. Jones, 85, Richland, died Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital earlier in the day.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Richland Friends Church with the Rev. Kenneth Pitts officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. The body is at the Gould Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 8, 1888 at West Branch, the daughter of Frank and Clara Madison John. Her early life was spent near Salem. She was married Sept. 21, 1906 to J. Howard Jones.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Daryl Jones, Richland; one granddaughter; five great grandchildren and one half-brother, Earl Thompson, Tama.

Mrs. Jones was a birthright member of the Friends Church.
