LOUISE REED

Louise T. Reed, 76, of Richland died June 19, 1997, at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born Sept. 1, 1920, in St. Augustine, IL, to Anthon and Bertha Kilburn Peck. She married Charles Reed on Oct. 10, 1942, at Clear Creek.

She attended Packwood schools. She had lived in the Richland and Ollie areas since 1942. She was a farm wife, a member of the Mother Cabrini Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society in Richland.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Gene of Richland and Daniel of Kalona; three daughters, Betty Wells of Ottumwa, Linda Bott of Fort Dodge, Nancy Glandon of Washington; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Harley Peck of Stockport and Larry Peck of Fairfield; and five sisters, Ethel Mineart, Joann Allerdice and Shirley Miller of Fairfield, Marcella Atwater of Galesburg, IL, and Donna Kennedy of Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, and a sister.

The service was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 23, 1997 at the Mother Cabrini Church in Richland with the Rev. Paul Connolly officiating. Burial was in Friends Cemetery in Richland.

Memorials may be made to the Richland Volunteer First Responders.

Gould Funeral Home, Richland, was in charge of arrangements.
