Pauline F. Shipley, 67, of Waterford, Mich., died July 9, 1993, at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac, Mich.

She was born Jan. 12, 1926, north of Martinsburg to Carl D. and Lula Jones Heninger. She married Howard Shipley on Sept. 15, 1946, in Norfolk, Va.

She was a retired U.S. government worker and member of Waterford Senior Citizens, United Auto Workers 584 Retirees Chapter and the Central United Methodist Church in Waterford.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Nancy Foltz; a son, Thomas E. II; five grandchildren; her mother of Sigourney; and a brother, Larry Heninger of rural Hedrick.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother Carl Wilson Heninger.

The service was July 13 at Donelson-Johns Funeral Home in Waterford. Burial was in Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac.
