Obituary - Sigourney Review August 18, 1897 "Died, Virginia Davis Holiday. At the home of Jesse Dorman in Sigourney , Iowa, Monday August 16, 1897, at 8:50 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Dorman reisdence Wed. at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. A. Jay Garretson. Mrs. Holiday was a sister of Mrs. Jesse Dorman and has been visiting the home for several weeks. We understand a tumor was the cause of death. A large concourse of friends attended the funeral."
