Dorothy B. Smith, 64, passed away June 20, 1998, at her home in Altus, Okla.

She was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Sigourney to Ralph and Cleo (Beall) Seaba. She married John E. Smith Jan. 2, 1952, in Sigourney. He died Apr. 9, 1986. Dorothy had lived in Deleware before moving to Altus in 1968. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

She is survived by six children, Steve E. Smith, Collette Madsen, Becky Smith, Danny Smith, Tim Smith and Pam Garrett; two brothers, Floyd and Wilford Seaba; one sister, Mary Louise Sieren; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son-in-law, Bob Madsen.
