OLLIE - Edna H. Bottger, 88, of Ollie, died Sunday, March 1, 1992, at Jefferson County Hospital, where she had been only a few hours.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ollie Cemetery with the Rev. Jane Jordan officiating. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Gould Funeral Home in Richland. A memorial has been established to Ollie United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Bottger was born Feb. 8, 1904, in McConnellsburg, Pa., the daughter of Thomas I. and Alda Sharpe Sipes. She graduated from Ollie Consolidated High School in 1921 and on Jan. 11, 1922, married Gerald Bottger at Ottumwa. He died Oct. 15, 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church of Ollie.

Surviving are a daughter, Geraldine Pearson of Ottumwa; four sons, James of Hedrick, Neal of Burlington, Rex of Excelsior Springs, Mo., John of Ollie; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a brother, Victor Sipes of Bloomfield. A sister and four half-brothers preceded her in death.
