Z. Balderson Dies In Texas

Zora V. Balderson, 88, died July 18 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Tex. She had been in failing health for several months, suffering from leukemia.

Mrs. Balderson was born near Richland Jan. 3, 1889, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira C. Hadley. She was reared in the Woolson community, graduating from Pleasant Plain Academy in 1907. She was a member of the Woolson Friends Church, the Woolson Arbor Vitae Club and the Veo Club.

She moved to Corpus Christi several years ago to be near her daughter, Mrs. Maxine Wiggins. Funeral services were held in Corpus Christi July 20.

Surviving in addition to her daughter are two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Rilla Lock, Packwood; and a brother, L.O. Hadley, Richland. One sister is deceased.
