John Dale Husband, 68 of 617 South 'D' Street, Oskaloosa, died Sept. 8, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

He was born February 14. 1924 at Delta, the son of John and Muriel Griggs Husband. For many years, he was a self-employed truck driver based at Keswick. He moved to Oskaloosa in 1972, and continued to drive truck, lastly employed by Oskaloosa Produce Feed Mill.

He was married to Lenore Welch Breuklander December 8, 1974 at Eddyville.

He is survived by his wife, Lenore; a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Russell Berry; a step-daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Carol) Booy; a stepson, David Breuklander; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers; Mervin Husband, Clarence Husband and Kenneth Husband; and three sisters, Mrs. Vernon Hermanstorfer; Mrs. Dorothy Gibson; and Mrs. Robert Herr.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, with
Pastor Alvern Boetsma officiating. Burial was in the Forest Cemetery.
