Did you try contacting Jean Kyle who made the original post to this thread? She was looking for relatives and had names so she may also have dates?

The 1895 Greenfield Twp., Jones County census shows a Jacob W. Newman, age 41 (c.1854) born Ohio and wife Caroline M., age 40 (c.1855) born Ohio. Could be a mislisted name for her?

Forest Hill cemetery shows a Jacob and Catherine Newman both died 1881 then also shows another simply listed as Mrs. Jacob Newman (1881-1951).
The WPA shows Jacob Newman 7/14/1800 - 8/19/1881 and Catherine died 5/30/1881 age 44.

There is also a J.W. Newman (1852-1922) at Norwich Cemetery which would match the 1895 census listed above but wife named Caroline.

Does any of the above sounds like yours?
