August F. Schlimmer Family

SCHLIMMER, STAHLBERG, SCHOON, OETZMANN, BEEKS, SAMPICA

Always looking for information on August F. SCHLIMMER (1861 - 1944) and his wife, Emma STAHLBERG (1861-1918). They came to America from
the Island of Fehmarn, Germany in 1882 and first settled in Clinton County and then moved to Jones where they lived the rest of their lives. Both are buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Children of August and Emma were: Henry M.
(b.1881), married Gertrude F. LYON; Dorothea Sophia (b. 1883), married HERMAN SCHOON; William H. (b. 1885), married Mary Ellen REDMOND; John (b. 1886), married Emma Sophie KRUEGER; Anna Carolina (b. 1889), married Henry SCHOON; Sophie Catharina (b. 1891 and died as a young girl); August Reinhart (b. 1893), married Anna Elizabeth DEMANGE (my grandparents); Emma (b.
1894), married Hugo OETZMAN; Alvena Catharina Maria (b. 1898), married Charles Otis BEEKS; Herman Christian (b. 1900), married Glady BEEKS; J. F. Theodore (b. 1903), married Elizabeth Ellen SAMPICA; Frederich Wilhelm (b. 1906); married Mabel BEEKS. Dora, August and Anna moved to Woodford County, IL. More than willing to share any information I have with relatives.
