Patrick Connell and his wife Elizabeth. Immigrated from Ireland c. 1845 and came from Marcellus, Onondaga County, NY. Settled in Onslow, Iowa present in 1856 State Census with children. Present on list of delinquent Lands & Town lots in Jones County Sept 1864; d. 17 May 1875 with probate 27 May 1875. District Court decree of foreclosure 27 May 1875.

Details of his death are unknown; can find no headstone in the area. His wife Elizabeth and their children moved to Saline County, Kansas.
