Melinda (Meeks)

I am a descendant of Melinda Jane (Meek) and Benjamin Franklin Grimm. The lived in Jones County, Iowa. I have heard stories that Benjamin built his home in Anamosa(?) with his civil war pension. He died in December, 1926 and Melinda died in August, 1922. Is anyone out there able to assist with any information on either of these individuals. I do have some information on Melinda's parents, but I have hit a wall on Benjamin. Thank you
