Mary Kay,

There is a possibility that her maiden name could have been Toole as in the 1880 census she and John live next door to a M.O. Toole, age 36 born in Ireland and his family. Could be her brother or half brother? Think this is the Michael O'Toole you posted obit for.

Have you tried contacting fellow Jones County contributor John Cheshire who has posted some Cheshire obits?

Did her obit in 1900 tell anything?
