I am looking for information on the family of Malachi Gavin (1848-1917)and Mary Root (his first wife) and Sarah (Casey) his second wife both buried in Jones Co. Holy Cross Cemetery. John Edward Gavin, one of his son's with Mary, is my husband Mike's grandfather. We would like to trace the family back to Ireland (Tipperary, I think) and find out about others in the family.
