Funeral services were held last Saturday at the First Presbyterian church, Monticello, for Richard Dean Marsh, 28, of Hiawatha. Goettsch Funeral home, Monticello, was in charge of arrangements.

He died Thursday morning at University hospitals, Iowa City, from injuries sustained in a two-car accident near Monticello, Jan. 23.

Born April 14, 1942, at Monticello, he graduated from Maquoketa Valley high school at Delhi in 1960. He married Sharon Koenig at Cedar Rapids July 7, 1969. He had been a coordinator for Collins Radio Co. He and his family had just recently moved to Hiawatha from Marion.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Brandon, at home; his mother, Mrs. Wilbur Loehr, Delhi.

Also five brothers, Paul, Marshalltown; William, Anamosa; Kenneth, Cedar Rapids; Robert, Springville, and Marvin, Monticello; four sisters, Edelia Eilers, Monticello; Mrs. Edward Jansen, Scotch Grove; Mrs. Phillip Schneider, Central City; and Mrs. Don Starks, Monticello.
