Last rites for August Carl Weseman, 75, were held at the Hayden funeral home, Olin, April 17 with the Rev. John Flaa, St. John's American Lutheran church, Olin, officiating. Mrs. Tom Levsen was organist and Mrs. John Flaa soloist. Burial was in St. John's cemetery, Clarence.

Pallbearers were Martin Baute, Leo, Louis and Tom Levsen, Howard Freeman and Jay Slater.

Mr. Weseman died at his farm home April 14, following a heart attack.

The son of WIlliam and Sopia Weseman, he was born Aug. 4, 1899 at the farm home southeast of Olin where he lived all his life.

He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's American Lutheran church, Olin and received his education in the rural Olin schools.

He farmed with his brother, William, until his brother's death and continued farming and feeding cattle until his death. He had sold Weseman Brothers hybrid seed corn, seed oats and soybeans.

Mr. Weseman is survived by a sister, Mrs. Arnold H. Kleppe; a niece, Mrs. William Feldman and a great-niece, Julie Louise Feldman, all of Clarence.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise and a brother, William.
