Private funeral services for William Schoon, 85, of Amber will be held Thursday, Dec. 24, at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. He died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 22.

Rev. Harvey Gilbertson will officiate at the services scheduled for 11 a.m. Interment will be in Wayne cemetery.

Survivors include one brother, Adolph, Amber; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
