OLIN - Clarence Erwin Cole, 41, 118 38th St. N.E., Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, June 7, at his home.

Memorial services were held at Turner's chapel, East, Cedar Rapids, Tuesday, June 9, at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services and burial were held at the Olin cemetery at 3 p.m. Rev. Lloyd Dutro, pastor of the Olin St. Paul's Methodist church, was in charge of the services.

He was born Sept. 12, 1928, son of Ray and Grace Switzer Cole, Olin. He attended Olin school and graduated from high school in 1946. He attended Cedar Rapids Business college where he graduated in 1948.

June 24, 1950, he was married to Joan Freeman at Olin. Couple moved to Cedar Rapids in 1953 where they had continued to live since that time.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; three daughters, Becky Ann, Nancy Jo and Tracy Lynn, all at home; one brother, Leo Cole, Cedar Rapids; and one sister, Madonna, Mrs. Frank Norton, Vallejo, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
