ONSLOW - Floyd Lee Chatterton, 78, Onslow, died Thursday, May 14, at John McDonald hospital, Monticello.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 16, at the Onslow Presbyterian church, at 1 p.m. Rev. Theodore Neely conducted the service. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

He was born Oct. 6, 1891, son of Royal and Harriet Barber Chatterton, near Onslow. He farmed with his parents until his marriage, Dec. 20, 1911, to Eva Leamon at Wyoming. He was a retired farmer.

He was a member of the Onslow Presbyterian church and of the Onslow Masonic lodge and fraternity 619.

Survivors include one brother, Alan, Onslow; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Phillips, Olin; and Mrs. Fred Hoenes, Bradenton, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
