OLIN - Ione R. Jones, 59, Olin, died Sunday morning, April 26, in a Cedar Rapids hospital following a long illness.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, April 29, at 3 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with Rev. Francis J. Foley of St. Matthews Episcopal church, Sparta, Mich., officiating, assisted by Rev. Lloyd Dutro, of the Evangelical United Brethren church, Olin. Cremation committal was held and interment will be made in the Chapel of Memorial Mausoleum.

Formerly of Chicago, Ill., she had lived in the Olin area for 25 years.

Born August 24, 1910, in Chicago, she was married to Morris R. Jones on Nov. 8, 1930, in Chicago. She was a homemaker and was employed by the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery association for several years, retiring due to ill health.

She was a member of the Pythian Sisters and the Friendship club, both of Olin.

Surviving are her husband; a son, John W. Jones, Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Vrooman, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Jake Loesch, Oak Lawn, Ill.; and Mrs. John Sullivan, Bellwood, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
