Bessie H. Patterson, 85, Dubuque, former Anamosa resident, died Monday evening, April 27, at Dubuque, where she had made her home for several years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. Boyd Bonebrake will conduct the service. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery.

She was formerly a telephone operator in Anamosa for several years before her retirement. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneer club and Evangeline Rebekah lodge, Anamosa.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Edna Hedding and Mrs. Irma Phillips, both of Dubuque.
