OXFORD JUNCTION - Louis Albert Mizaur, 70, Oxford Junction, died unexpectedly at his home Thursday night, April 23.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 26, at 2 p.m., at the Hayden Funeral home. Rev. Robert Christensen conducted the service. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

He was born Feb. 9, 1900, son of Frank and Mary Ledvina Mizaur, Oxford Junction. He attended Oxford Junction school. He farmed with his father until moving to town. After moving to town he worked at the Clinton Engine Co., Maquoketa, until retiring in 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Maria; and one daughter, Miss Louanne Mizaur, Oxford Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
