OXFORD JUNCTION - Robert W. Barber, 67, Oxford Junction, died Thursday morning, Feb. 19, at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1:30 p.m., at the United Methodist church. Rev. Lyle Meester conducted the service. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery. Masonic services were held Friday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m., at the Hayden Funeral home.

He was born March 23, 1902, son of Horace P. and Mary Leach Barber, on a farm north of Wyoming. He married Valda B. Moore, at Anamosa, on Jan. 28, 1925. They spent most of their married life farming in Jones county before retiring to Oxford Junction.

He was a member of the Wyoming Masonic lodge and the United Methodist church, Oxford Junction.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Keith, Oxford Junction; Norma Lou, Mrs. Carl Brodersen, Clarence; and Peggy, Mrs. Larry Hungerford, Cedar Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Elwood Kirkpatrick, Clarence; and seven grandchildren.
