November 28, 1974 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Mrs. Richard (Ethel) Eiselstein, 59, were held at the Methodist church in Olin Nov. 18. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Eiselstein died at St. Luke's Methodist hospital, Cedar Rapids, Nov. 14.

Ethel Viola, daughter of Charles and Arminta Montgomery Grimm, was born near Wapello Nov. 25, 1914. She attended school at Nichols and lived in the Nichols and Muscatine area until her marriage to Richard Eiselstein June 16, 1940.

The couple lived near Nichols for 2 years, then farmed south of Tipton for 5 years before moving to a farm near Olin in 1948.

She was a member of the Methodist church in Olin and the West Side club.

She is survived by her husband, 3 children, Mrs. Larry (Alberta) Clark, Marion; Allen, Hinsdale, Ill., and Edward, Marion; 5 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mrs. Ray McCullough, Nichols; Mrs. Ransom Forbes, Conesville and Mrs. Delbert Wegner, Columbus Junction. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
