MONTICELLO - Alphonse "Patsy" Stoll, 64, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon, Nov. 15. He was the father of Louis Stoll, Anamosa.

Funeral service was held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart church with Rev. Eugene Lorenz officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery, Worthington.

Mr. Stoll was born Jan. 18, 1890, in Worthington, son of Victor and Odeha White Stoll. He attended St. Pauls school, Worthington.

He was married to Loretta Schnier in 1917. She died June 6, 1921 and in 1922 he married Elizabeth Lehman. Couple farmed south of Monticello until 1948 when they moved to town.

Surviving are his wife, and four sons, Justin, Monticello, Loras and Andrew, Cascade, Louis, Anamosa, one daughter, Mrs. LaVern Rickels, Monticello, and three sisters, Mrs. John Klaren and Miss Celestine Stoll, Worthington, and Mrs. Ed Schemmel, Monticello and 15 grandchildren.
