George Drumbarger, 57, former Anamosa resident residing in Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday noon, May 26, at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness.

Body is at the McNamara funeral home, Anamosa, where the rosary will be recited Friday night.

Funeral service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Anamosa, with Rev. J. A. McMahon officiating.

Burial will be in Wilcox cemetery. Serving as casket bearers will be nephews of Mr. Drumbarger. They are Donald, James and Lewis Reed, William and Richard Frasher, and LaVerne LaBarge.

Mr. Drumbarger moved from Anamosa to Cedar Rapids about a year ago. He was employed at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, for many years.

He was born June 10, 1896.

Surviving are his wife, Hazel; a daughter, Mrs. Marian Matthews, and a son, Marven, all of Cedar Rapids; his mother, Mrs. Lydia Drumbarger, Viola, and a sister, Mrs. R. A. Reed, Cedar Rapids.
