Word has been received by Misses Florence and Marian Hale, Anamosa, of the death of an aunt, Mrs. Ora Stickle, 80, wife of Col. Horton W. Stickle, Jan. 29 at Sanford, Mich.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Stickle were born in Cass township, Jones county, children of pioneer families.

Mrs. Stickle was the daughter of the late J. Smith Condit, who for many years conducted a creamery business in Cass township and Anamosa.

Surviving, besides her husband, are three sons and two daughters; a sister, Mrs. Charles Byerly, Cicero, Ill., and a brother, J. S. Condit, Winnetka, Ill.
