OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Mrs. Antonia Vesley, 86, was held Friday, September 24, at 2 p.m. at the Ayer's funeral home at Keystone. Burial was in the Bohemian National cemetery at Vining.

Mrs. Vesley died Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, where she had been a patient for the last six weeks. Previous to that she had made her home here with her daughter, Mrs. Ed Clausen, for six years.

Mrs. Vesley was born Antonia Homolar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Homolar, in Tama county, Feb. 27, 1868. She was married to Antone Vesley and they lived from that time at Vining, where Mr. Vesley died a number of years ago.

She is survived by one son, Edward Vesley, Vining, and Mrs. Clausen, Oxford Junction, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Emma Uridel, and two sons in childhood.
