C. H. Miner, life-long Jones county resident, died suddenly Saturday evening, Nov. 7, at his home in Cass township north of Anamosa.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Goettsch funeral home. Rev. H. A. James will officiate. Burial will be in Antioch cemetery.

Cortice Harlan Miner, son of Henry and Jane Blood Miner was born Nov. 19, 1883, south of Anamosa.

He was married to Blanche Gierhart, Nov. 19, 1914. They farmed in and around Anamosa all their married life.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Don, Harold and Carl, all of Anamosa, and two grandsons, Allen and Steven Miner.
