ONSLOW - Mrs. Mary Reid, 84, died Monday, Sept. 7, at Thurston's nursing home, Tipton, after an illness of eight months.

Funeral service will be held at the Onslow Presbyterian church at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9. Burial will be in Clay cemetery.

Mrs. Reid was born near Onslow, Dec. 22, 1868, the daughter of Robert and Indiann Snyder. She has lived in the Onslow neighborhood all her life.

On Jan. 1, 1902, she was married to James Reid. No children were born to this union.

Several nieces and nephews survive.
