WYOMING - Funeral service for Mrs. John H. Hansen, 74, who died Monday morning, May 4 in St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, was held Thursday afternoon May 7, at the family country home.

Rev. R. F. Gronewald, pastor of the American Lutheran church, Wyoming, officiated. Walter Sullivan sang two numbers, "In the Garden" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", accompanied by Mrs. Sullivan.

Casket bearers were John F. Hansen, Gus Von Sprecken, John M. Petersen, Hans Ketelsen, Chris A. Hansen and William Otten. Burial was in the home cemetery.

Mary Teresa Hinricksen was born in Hallstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, Dec. 1, 1878. She came with her parents to America when she was 13 years old.

Family settled near Oxford Junction. On April 15th, 1900, she was united in marriage to John H. Hansen, Dennison.

Year later they moved to the Wyoming vicinity and engaged in farming. Five children were born to this union: Minna, Thomas, Harry, Hatta and Alice.

She is survived by her husband; her three daughters, Dr. Minna Hansen, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. Hatta White, Los Angeles; Mrs. John Sikora, Blackhawk, Ill.; three grandchildren, Elsie and Joey Sikora, Carol Jean White; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Dodge and Mrs. Ed Chelmyer, Wyoming; one brother, Ben Hinricksen, Olin.

Her two sons and one brother preceded her in death.
