Mrs. Mary McClain, 76, wife of the late James McClain, who was a well driller in Anamosa for many years, died Friday evening, April 10, at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids.
Funeral service was held at Goettsch funeral home, Anamosa, at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 13. Rev. Walter D. Wigger officiated. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Monticello.
Mrs. McClain was born Mary Yelineck, daughter of Charles and Anna Benesh Yelineck, at Belle Plaine, Oct. 3, 1876.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Blanche Miller, Cedar Rapids, a brother, E. E. Yelineck, San Francisco, and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, two brothers, Charles and Joseph, and a sister, Anna, preceded her in death.
