OLIN - Funeral services for A. Ray Tarbox, 65, were held July 25 at Goettsch Funeral home in Anamosa. Burial was in the Olin cemetery. He died July 21 at Iowa City, following a long illness.

He and his wife Edna were married Feb. 16, 1927 and made their home in Olin. He had served at sexton of Olin cemetery for 13 years.

Survivors include his wife; seven children, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Clark of Olin, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Lincoln, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Bieber and Mrs. Richard (Roseanne) Stivers of Anamosa, Raymond, who is in the U.S. Navy, James, who is in the U.S. Air Force and Michael, of Williamstown, Ky.

Also surviving is his mother, Mrs. Elnora Tarbox, Olin; a sister, Mrs. William Custis, Anamosa; a brother, Lewis, Olin, and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sameul L. Tarbox.
