OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Frank J. Benhart, 86, who died Thursday, Sept. 14 at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, were held Sept. 17 at Hayden funeral home. The Rev. Ramon Booth officiated. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. Benhart was born Jan.8, 1881 in Oxford Jct., the son of Frank and Anna Schimek Benhart. He was married to Julia Burda Feb. 16, 1904 in Anamosa. They farmed near Oxford Jct. until their retirement in 1935. Mrs. Benhart died in 1963.

He was a member of the Oxford Jct. Masonic lodge.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Adelia Monath of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Charles Benhart, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Hronik and two grandsons, Richard and Kenneth Benhart, all of Oxford Jct.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, one son, George and two grandsons.
