TEMPLE Hill - Funeral services for William Kieran Wallace, 78, were held Saturday morning, March 9, at St. Peter's church. The Rev. Robert J. Saunders officiated at the mass. Interment was in St. Peter's cemetery, with the Rev. Harold N. Ginter presiding. Military services were conducted by the American Legion of Cascade.

Mr. Wallace died March 7 at the Jackson county Memorial hospital, Maquoketa, after a five day illness. He was born at Temple Hill, the son of John and Ann Tobin Wallace.

He married Grace Donovan and they had always farmed in the Temple Hill area. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include: his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Owen ((Patricia) Bean, Kathleen, Mrs. Allan (Pauline) Wallace and Mrs. Ronald (Margaret Fowler, all of Maquoketa; and 16 grandchildren.
