SAVANNA, ILL. Mrs. Earl Ellis, 55, of RFD 2, Savanna, Ill., and formerly of Oxford Junction, died at 2 o'clock on Sunday, March 8, in Savanna City hospital where she was admitted after suffering a stroke. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon, March 11, in the Law Funeral Home

Alice Corrine Coon was born May 15, 1903, in Oxford Junction, the daughter of Eugene and Bertha Burton Coon. She lived in this area for 19 years.

Surviving are her husband and one foster daughter, Miss Marnes Hill, at home; her mother, Mrs. Bertha J. Coon of Clinton, Iowa, seven brothers and two sisters.
