ANAMOSA - Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for James Tucker Remley, 52, former Jones county attorney, at the First Baptist church.

He died of a heart attack Saturday at Madison, Wis., after attending the Iowa-Wisconsin football game.

He was born in Anamosa Dec. 23, 1914, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Remley. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1936.

Mr. Remley was a member of the Jones county and Iowa State Bar associations and had served as Jones county Republican chairman and as Second district Republican central committeeman.

Survivors include: his wife; two sons, James of Tipton and Gregory at home; one daughter, Wilma Ellen; his mother, Mrs. James Remley of Anamosa; and two sisters, Mrs. Arnold Wunder of Dysart and Mrs. Arthur Sunleaf of Bellevue.
