Funeral services will be held today (Monday) at 9:30 a.m. from Devaney Funeral home to Sacred Heart church for Raymond J. Leytem, 60, who died unexpectedly at his farm home north of Monticello Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in sacred Heart cemetery.

Mr. Leytem was born May 15, 1898, at Cascade, son of William and Caroline Dehner Leytem. He married Catherine Polfer Jan. 17, 1922 at Temple Hill.

They have farmed north of Monticello since 1939.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Lawrence of Marion and George of Griffith, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Irene) Pierce of East Dubuque, Ill. and Mrs. William (Monica) Welter of Hopkinton; a brother, Ambrose Leytem of Cascade; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Knepper of Cascade, and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cyril White, William Reuter, Loren Freese, Duane Freese, Bernard Behrends, William Peters, Robert Wahl and Donald Hennessey.
