Rev. Kenneth Harden conducted last rites for Ben Hansen 90, at the Hayden Funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30. Mrs. Otto Koranda and Mrs. Hans H. Ahrendsen sang, with Mrs. L. M. Hayden, organist. Burial was in the Monmouth cemetery. Pall bearers were John Miller, Frank Benhart, Ford Cram, Austin Conwell, George Leslie Sr. and Cale Welty.

Ben, son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hansen, was born at Baldwin in August, 1868, and passed away at the Kleineck Nursing home in Onslow, Sunday, Jan. 18. He was married to Kitty Carrington in 1897. Most of his life was spent in this community, being a long time resident of Oxford Mills.

He is survived by a son, Emil, of Oxford Junction; a nephew, Fred, who had made his home with them; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Montgomery of Oxford Junction and Mrs. Grace Leslie of Burnt Woods, Ore., and a brother, Guy. His parents, wife, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
