William J. Burke, 87, died Sunday at his farm home at Temple Hill. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at St. Peter's church, Temple Hill. Burial was in the church cemetery. Devaney's funeral home was in charge.

Surviving are a daughter and a son, both at home. His wife died May 13, 1929.
