Funeral services for Mrs. W. C. George, nee Una Belle Narin, 83, daughter of the late Alexander and Lucy Narin of Maquoketa, were held from the Harrington funeral home at Wyoming at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. F. E. Somerville had charge assisted by the Rev. Solomon of Oxford Junction. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery. Mrs. George died Monday night.

The deceased was born near Maquoketa, Jan. 22, 1868. She taught music for many years, both before and after her marriage in 1896 to Will C. George. The George's came to Wyoming 42 years ago and with the exception of three years residence at various points in Iowa and Missouri and the last three and one-half years which she spent in the Gilmore Nursing home in Maquoketa.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Durwood (Lora) Vargason and Mrs. Albert (Ruth) Marter of Oxford Junction, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her husband died a few years ago and two children died in infancy.
